Confidence is a strong word and a bold statement. Are you confident in your current job or career? Through experience we often gain confidence. Confidence is something that is gained by actually doing it can not be just given to someone. Confidence can go a long way in your real estate investing adventure. When you are confident, things begin to happen. As you get more education by learning what works, you begin to get more confident. As you desire to do real estate deals you truly have to believe in what you are doing and believe that you will succeed in doing it.
When you do that first deal you gain confidence, the second deal even more confidence and so on. It does not matter how much money you are making with your first few real estate deals, it matters more to get these first few deals under your belt. The profits will come with time and experience. As you do more and more deals and get more and more offers accepted your confidence will grow. Some of the best real estate deals you might do are the deals you do not actually do. You learn from each offer and each deal to try to negotiate and put together.
A word of caution, do not let your confidence turn into arrogance. If you become arrogant you can lose that edge. People like dealing with confident people but must people do not like to deal with arrogant people. Each day make sure you network and treat people the way you want to be treated. You will expand your network, have more opportunities and you will be making more offers and doing more deals. Never let your head get as big as though balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In the parade they need so many people to hold down those large balloons from getting away. Never get away from the person you truly are and never forget where you came from.
When you begin in real estate investing, if you need help be sure to inquire to knowledge people that can assist you. It is more important to learn what you may not know rather than appear you have more knowledge than you actually may have. You want to avoid any costly mistakes that could have been prevented with the proper knowledge. Be confident in yourself and make it happen! Live life in the moment with no regrets!
