The 4th of July Holiday is a very special time of year where we celebrate our nation’s independence. It is so much fun to spend our free time with family, friends, fireworks, food and festivities! We have time to talk about past memories and plans for our future. We may even talk about some goals or dreams that we have for our own lives. “A dream is a wish your heart makes” is a quote that I really like from Disney. I believe that with your effort and the information you have at your fingertips you can turn your real estate investing dreams into reality!
I had the ability to meet people all over the country that are pursuing their own real estate investing adventure dream. I can not begin to tell you how great it is to share another common interest with my spouse. We both have a passion to network with people and pursue our own real estate investing adventure together. We are constantly learning new things with real estate that we can talk to each other about and generate even more great ideas.
I have met several couples across the country and some may not be on the same page of what they really want in life. You have to make sure you are making the effort and work together to compliment each other so you are both headed in the same direction. One issue I have seen is that they couples will have goals and dreams but each partner may have their own idea of just how much time, energy and effort they want to put into real estate.
The key for a better chance at success in real estate is for both members of this team to be on the same page for the level of commitment you want to put into real estate investing. If you are not on the same page, it may lead to arguments or ultimately not getting to where you want to be in life. It is like driving to a destination and both people want to drive the car and head in totally different directions. You may never get to where you want to be or it could take you a lot longer rather than if you would have worked together to get there! Some couples work great together in real estate and some couples choose not to work together. I would tell you do whatever works for you and your partner. There is not a right answer only what is the best answer for your own situation.
If your spouse does not want to help you with your real estate efforts that is okay. Do your best and one day they may come around. Real estate is a great business, but it is not for everyone. If your spouse is not helping you right now do not take it personally. I would hope at least they are not discouraging you. Find your motivation that you are going to make a difference in your life. Find the little things in life that will inspire you and keeping you going when the going gets tough. You will find success if you do not give up.
You are able to make that dream or that wish into your reality. Go make your financial independence dream happen. Just like more than 200 years ago there were colonists fighting for that independence that came on July 4, 1776! What is your date that you started on your track toward financial independence? So, now is the time to go make it happen! Live life with no regrets! Believe and Achieve! – Joe Jurek
