How bad do you want to succeed with real estate investing?

Success can be hard work with many sacrifices, but if it were easy everyone could do it!  Real Estate Investing can be very frustrating some days where nothing seems to go right!  Your career or job can be the same way.  We all have bad days and even a few horrible days.  We often shake off the bad day and head into work the following day hoping for a fresh start to the week.  As long as you are doing one thing each day to move forward with real estate that is okay because you are making progress.  Never focus on the things you have not done, be sure to pat yourself on the back for the things you accomplished.  If you made several calls to Realtors, Cash Buyers or For Sale by Owners, you are making progress.  A little effort can go a long way.

Do you have a plan each week and work your plan?  You need to get organized and plan out your week’s activity.  It is just like writing out your grocery list, you never want to forget anything.  Each day learn from what you have done and what you still need to do.  Are there things that you can be doing more efficiently?  if so, make the adjustments and continue to move forward!  I know many real estate investors that spend 1 hour on Craigslist each day.  These investors read ads and post ads.  If you commit to posting one ad per day on Craigslist after 30 days you will have 30 ads!

Some real estate investors succumb to doubt or fear.  Do you have what it takes to succeed?  If you have a burning desire about real estate and are willing to put in the time and effort, then  I believe you have what it takes to achieve success!  You have faced so many challenges or issues in life, never let real estate investing make you feel like you want to give up.  You may even hear opinions from other people such as family or friends.  try not to listen to the negative and search out the positive people in life.  As they say people can be like a battery, some are negative and others are positive.  never let those negative people drain your life!  There are many times at work we become frustrated and might love to yell into the phone.  We don’t do that because we remain professional – cool, calm and collective.  Real estate investing does take patience and an ability to be calm when dealing with difficult situations.  Learn and grow each day and your next deal might actually be closer than you think. You can do it!  Believe and Achieve! – Joe Jurek
